The Chemical Brothers: British dance-rave duo Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands had originally formed a disco company.
Simons said: "We thought of London Dust Explosion, then decided it had to have 'brothers' in it."
Hence the Dust Brothers, after the Dust production team in the United States.
Things changed as the British disc jockeys moved into recording in 1995. The American Dusts saw the choice as a rip-off, not a tribute, and a legal dust-up was threatened before a United States tour.
The new name raised drug concerns. Simons said in an interview: "It's just because chemistry bonds things." It came from a 1993 song of his, Chemical Beat. His grandmother suggested they renamed The Grit Brothers, an idea they considered and rejected.
