Under music, they just found a review of TV show Rock Follies headlined "It's The Buzz, Cock!"

This was after news about The Sex Pistols, who also played a Stooges song, No Fun. The two saw Pistols perform and were blown away. Trafford said they decided to "go back to Manchester and go like them ... but up North". The initial Pistols inspiration not only influenced their music but their obviously phallic name. Their apt first single was Orgasm Addict.

Within hours, McNeish became Pete Shelley and Trafford was Howard Devoto.
